It’s not everyday that you get an opportunity to talk with someone you’ve looked up to over the years, let alone ask them personal questions about their path in life. It was an honor to learn more about Dan—the man behind the myth and legend. We don’t want to give away the story, but we will tell you to put aside what you think you know about this guy and get ready to hear from him about his aspirations before design, how a Windows 3.1 computer changed his life trajectory, the people who influenced and encouraged him along the way, where he’s headed, and how having a family has changed the legacy he hopes to leave behind—and the books he reads.
